What Do You Call It: Name Poems

Think about how you feel on a school morning compared to how you feel on Saturday morning.  If your name is Bob, you are still Bob but maybe you are Happy-to-see-my—friends-Bob on a school morning and Lazy-sleepy-head-Bob on Saturday. Maybe you have a nick-name, too, like Shortie or Gadget! In this writing craft workshop, we will look at a few writing samples, explore naming as group and write a name-poem of our own. Finally, we’ll share our work, giving and receiving soft-feedback.
