Join Marilyn Love and be introduced to the four basic tenets of EARTH-KIND:

•       Water conservation,

•       Energy conservation,

•       Reduction of fertilizer and pesticide use, and

•       Reduction of yard waste entering the landfill.

Strategies for accomplishing each of the goals in the landscape will be explored. 

About Marilyn Love:

After gardening in the east for over 30 years, I returned to Texas in 2010 with no experience gardening in South Central Texas.  I took the Master Gardener course to gain appropriate gardening knowledge and to make friends in my new community. I became a certified Master Gardener in 2012.  Following my special interest in native and adaptive perennial landscaping, I completed advanced training on Superstars® in 2015 and Earthkind® in 2017.  I served as President of HCMGA in 2014-2015, Vice President in 2017 and 2020, Vice President in 2021, and am currently the chair of the Membership Committee, and a State Delegate. I am an active member of the Speakers Network.
