Plants grow all around us. Usually we enjoy their beauty, yet many of them hold special properties as well. Flowers, trees, weeds, and even spices for food can help us feel better or get well from sickness. Would you like to learn more about them? Come see how you can take a variety of herbs and spices and make toothpaste, healthy root beer, ointment for sore muscles, first aid powder, fire cider for the immune system and more.  We will be creating our own herb books while gaining knowledge about mint, fennel, sarsaparilla, cinnamon, cayenne, aloe vera, ginger, garlic, elder, lemon balm, lavender and chamomile.

Hands on medicinal herbs ages 8-12 or grades 3rd-6th  4-Day workshop on July 15, 16, 22 and 23 with 3 herbs per day and hands on activities. Some plants will go home for re-potting and growing, a handmade booklet will be produced. Missing a day is okay, your booklet will just be smaller and you miss out on that day's activities.
