Genealogy Workshop: Tracking Death Sources & Artifacts Can Provide a Life Story of an Ancestor

Can you recognize all the fragments scattered among relatives and official records for you to uncover? This zoom session will provide you an overview of historical death practices: mourning, burial, memorials, dress and record keeping affiliated with those who have passed. Many artifacts can still be found in homes, antique stores or even in local museums. But what else can you consider for sources that extend beyond cemeteries and tombstones? This class will offer some new ideas using websites you may not have considered or ones you need to revisit.  Often the extent of records buried within many websites have increased since you last looked!
