Dr. Blagoy Rangelov received a B.S. degree in Physics from Sofia University, Bulgaria, where, a year later, he graduated with an M.S. degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics. In 2006 he joined the Ph.D. program of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Toledo. Blagoy Rangelov broadened his knowledge and skillset by becoming a Pre-doctoral Fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, MA. In 2013 he became a Postdoctoral Scientist at the George Washington University, and in the Fall of 2016 joined the Department of Physics at Texas State University.
