Entrepreneur Talk with Vicky Lewis

Friday, March 182:00—3:00 PMZoom

Vicky Lewis, after graduating University with a business degree, changed gears and danced the Can Can on stage in Switzerland, scuba-dived in the Indian Ocean and earned her commercial pilot’s license all by the age of 25.  She and her new husband moved to Seattle where she spent 20 years working as a Program Manager at large high-tech firms, first in the Pacific Northwest and then in Austin. Her strengths are around understanding processes and systems and then refining and organizing them to produce efficiencies in workflow. Knowing that all successful businesses are system-based, she took those skills and applied them to the coffee industry in 2012, launching Mazama Coffee Company, later adding a micro-roastery and bakery.  And most recently launching the retail boutique, Juniper Tree Market next door.

Join us on zoom if you would like to know: How to get started, how to run a business, how to get the funding needed to start a business, the inspiration that led to starting these businesses, and other tips learned along the way. If you have been thinking about or are wanting to become an entrepreneur, this is the program for you.
