Join us at the Library for Cookie Decorating with Betsy Herrington!

Yay for cookies!  In this class you will learn some basic cookie decorating techniques, including making icing colors, filling a piping bag, outlining, flooding, and adding details to cookies.  You will leave with 6 decorated cookies, a royal icing recipe, and new skills you can practice at home!  I can't wait to create cookie art with you!

Hi!  I'm Betsy Herrington, a teacher for DSISD by day and cookie artist by night.  I have been learning the art of cookie decorating since 2015, and love teaching cookie decorating to others.  In regards to teaching, I have been with DSISD since 2019, and currently teach special education.  When not teaching or making cookies, I spend time with my husband, James, daughter, Chloe, and dog, Cinnamon.  I also enjoy gathering with friends, walking, gardening, and finding cool, new restaurants.
