What is Battle of the Books?  Battle of the Books is a book club with a reading list for two age groups, book discussions within each team and a day for friendly competition between BOB teams in your age group: Grades 3 – 5 and Grades 6 – 8.

In place of a live meeting this early in the summer, please call the library during this time at 512-858-7825, and ask for Marie. This would be a great time to voice your interest, ask questions about Battle of the Books, and discuss battle options.
Optional in-person fact gathering visits can be set by appointment by emailing childrenslibrarian@dscl.org with a Battle of the Books subject heading.

Both digital books and shelf books are available for contestants. Please register and begin reading from your required list of 10 titles!
